Work items:  Gloves, sun protection, chain saw, screw guns/drills w/ bits, circular saws, etc.

The recent flooding on Johnson Creek caused significant damage to our beloved Tecaboca trout lease. High-water flood left debris from the ground up to as high as 15 ft deposited along the creek bank.  This affects the health and fishability of our lease. Even the footbridge at Beat #1 dislodged from its moorings when the flood surge passed.

Cleanup Day #1 was a success in every sense thanks to our volunteers.  Huge progress was made when literally tons of accumulated fallen trees, large branches, and coarse woody debris were dismantled by Saturday's crew.

This coming cleanup Saturday needs dozens of volunteers. Saturday's focus is the destroyed foot-bridge at the end of #1. This bridge provided access from our parking area to fishing Areas #3, #4, and #5 and must be rebuilt.

There are tasks for everyone, no matter your skill level.  We need all of you to help clear debris, disassemble a bridge, and construct a replacement bridge. Everyone's help is welcomed and needed. 

Your work will significantly impact the lease's ecosystem, helping to ensure the future of one of our favorite fishing spots. Your efforts benefit the  environment and strengthens the sense of community among our club members.
