TEXAS HILL COUNTRY FLY FISHERS
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing
"Healing Those Who Serve".
Project Healing Waters brings a high-quality, full-spectrum fly fishing program to an ever-expanding number of disabled active military service personnel across the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, in Military Hospitals and the Warrior Transition Command. The focus of our resources is toward wherever the need is greatest and expand our partner base in the process.
PHWFF has become recognized as an innovative leader and model in the field of therapeutic outdoor recreation for the disabled, through its successful application of the sport of fly fishing as a rehabilitation tool.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing is unique in that our volunteers are teaching classes on an on-going, long term basis. It is much more than a one-time fishing trip.
Our program provides basic fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying and rod building classes for participants whose skills range from beginners who have never fished before, to those with prior fly fishing and tying experience.
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Maryland. PHWFF is dependent on tax-deductible, charitable donations and the help of numerous volunteers to meet the educational, equipment, transportation, and related needs of its participants.
