Fish with us at a "Fly Fishing for Carp Tournament" sponsored by Texas Hill Country Fly Fishers being held at the carp-filled golf ponds found at the beautiful Comanche Trace residential development in Kerrville Tx.

Open to: Texas Hill Country Fly Fishers members; Comanche Trace residents and Club newsletter members.

Carp + Bass & Sunfish too!

Texas carp are big, strong, easy to spook, hard to catch and difficult to land. Right now, carp are the most talked about sport fish in fly fishing.

But if you are not ready to take on a carp, we have you covered. This year we are including Bass and Sunfish in this tournament.

Bass - 1st & 2nd - Longest landed
Sunfish - 1st & 2nd - Most landed

About the Tournament

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED - ENTRY FEE $25 PER PERSON

Fly Fishing Equipment & Catch & Release Only
Meet at the Comanche Trace Sales Office at 8:00 am Event Day
Breakfast tacos, coffee and water will be served.

CARP BASICS 101 - a brief presentation during breakfast.

Fishing will cease promptly at 12:00 noon and we’ll all gather again at the sales office to tally the results and announce the winners.
