Fish with us at a "Fly Fishing for Carp Tournament" sponsored by Texas Hill Country Fly Fishers. This years tourney is being held at the carp-filled golf ponds found at the beautiful Comanche Trace residential development in Kerrville Tx.

About the Tournament

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED - ENTRY FEE $20 PER PERSON

RODS, REELS AND FLIES
MUST BE EXCLUSIVELY FOR FLY FISHING
THIS IS A CATCH & RELEASE TOURNAMENT

Meet at the Comanche Trace Sales Office at 8:00 am Event Day.

You will need CARP FLIES.
- (limited carp flies will be for sale at event)
- (Chase Smith - Professional Fly Tyer - https://fishchaseflies.com/)
- (Martin Pursch - Country Fly Fisher Shop - 830-990-9453)
You will need a heavier weight fly rod and sturdy leader.
Nice to have: a big net.

Breakfast tacos, coffee and water will be served.

CARP BASICS 101 - a brief presentation during breakfast.

Fishing will cease promptly at 12:00 noon and we’ll all gather again at the sales office to tally the results and announce the winners.
1ST place prize, for longest carp landed, is a $50.00 gift certificate at FISH CHASE FLIES (Chase Smith’s company)

2ND place, for second longest carp landed, is a $40.00 gift certificate at COUNTRY FLYFISHERS SHOP (Martin Pursch’S company);

3RD place, for most number of carp landed, is a $30.00 gift certificate at COUNTRY FLYFISHERS SHOP.
