“Fly Tying With The Experts”

NOTE:  Meetings will now begin at 6:00pm to allow more daylight for after-meeting travel.

Program: Martin Pursch will be hosting this evenings club meeting subject: Fly Tying.  You will not want to miss meeting the colorful Martin Pursch.  Owner of the Country Fly Fisher Shop, Fredericksburg.    Martin and his fly shop have build a huge following over the past 20+ years he has been in business.  Martin has taught and mentored countless persons over the years about how to tie flies by holding classes at his shop. 

Martin and other volunteers will be providing instructions and fly tying materials. Martin stresses the open tying session will be for people that have never tied before but also for people that have their own tying equipment. The club will furnish tools and basic materials for new tyers.  While experienced tyers should bring their own tools and any special materials they are used to using.  

Martin will be teaching flies that are known fish getters but will probably be new to both new and experienced groups.

The Texas Hill Country Fly Fishers Club membership is available to fishermen (and most certainly fisherwomen) desiring to promote the sport of fly fishing and related activities such as fly tying, and rod building.
